The Walker Art Gallery

The Walker Art Gallery holds one of the finest collections of fine and decorative art in Europe and has inspired and delighted visitors for over 130 years. The collection contains mainly 19th and 20th century paintings including works by Cezanne, Degas, Magraitte and David Hockney, and many works by Pre-Raphaelite and Victorian painters such as Millais and Ford Madox Brown.
The Walker Art Gallery Cafe
The café is located on the ground floor and is open 10 am to 4.30 pm daily and serves hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks, including a children’s selection. Last hot food orders are taken at 4.00 pm.  A children’s menu and highchairs are also available. Visitors can use the free wi-fi connection at the café. Simply log on and the wireless provider is Café.

The Walker Art Gallery Shop
The Walker shop is also on the ground floor, next to the café. You can browse through a range of books, postcards, prints, jewellery and pocket-money priced souvenirs.
